I got the idea to draw a person walking in the cool shadows of a tree alley, when the sun is so hot and dense that you have the impression to be blinded by the light.
You can still recognise the basic composition of a diagonal line across the sheet, on one side is the light and the shadow on the other.
With time, this basic idea developed more and more.
HB, B, B5 on A3 Bristol extra smooth paper.

I love the idea of the castle built AROUND the tree roots, that is my favourite bit
